Website and NYC
Maybe the most interesting website I know is YouTube, because I grew up with it and I can use it easily. Also it was the first website I used.
Perhaps the most interesting thing you can do is search about other places, and NYC is one of them. So my top three things I like to do when I travel there it will be:
I- Pass throught the Bookly Bridge. it's an experience necessary for an architect.
II - Go to the Statue of Liberty. An iconic monument.
III- And walk to the Central Park. it's to green, it must be pretty.
Now 12 of the most famous tourist attractions in New York City:
1- Statue of Liberty
The ticket prices for visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are $31.80 or $35.99 with sightseeing cruise. Its variable for the time or the adds.
If someone is in Manhattan, then how to get there taken the 59 St-Columbus Circle frist Line South Ferry to Chambers St an then you can walk or take the M22Battery Park City Vesey St to Murray St/North End Av to get to Brookfield Place / Battery Park City, the ferrys.
2- Central Park
You can find a diversity of atracttions divided in north, central and sourth on central park. Some places you can find are: Landscapes (Belvedere Castle, Sheep Meadow), Playgrounds (Robert Bendheim Playground, Ancient Playground), Woodlands (North Woods, The Ravine), Architectural Features (Dairy Visitor Center & Gift Shop, Belvedere Castle), Bridges & Arches (Gapstow Bridge, Denesmouth Arch), Statues & Ornamental Features (Alice in Wonderland, Cherry Hill Fountain), Water Bodies (Harlem Meer, Turtle Pond) and Quiet Zones (Conservatory Garden, Shakespeare Garden), among many others.
You can reach to central park by subway in lines 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W, and the S stop at the Times Square 42nd Street station.
3- The Metropolitan Museum of Art The Met
The ticket prices for visiting the met are $30 for adults; $22 for seniors; $17 for students. The tickets include both Met locations (The Met Cloisters and The Met Fifth Avenue) for the date you paid. Free for Members, Patrons, children under 12, and a caregiver accompanying a visitor with a disability.
The only discount present is for visitors with a disability who qualifies for a discounted ticket price of $22. This ticket must be purchased in person. The caregiver accompanying a visitor with a disability is eligible for complimentary admission.
The closest subways on the area are: 86th Street, line 4, 5 and 6, and 77th Street, line 6.
4- Time Square
In Time Square, the currently activities or attractions are: In musicals, The lion king and Hamilton (thats important to me), and the events are in Nov 29 and 30, 2024, the Dina Martina Christmas Show and later, Between 02-28 of december, The New Year's Eve Wishing Wall.
The subway lines that stop near to this place are: The Times Sq–42 St (1,2,3,7 and S lines), 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal (A, C and E lines), 49 St (N, Q, R and W lines) and 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr (B, D, F and M lines).
5- Empire State Building
The cost of tickets to the observation deck are, with a $5 booking charge is added to each transaction, prrices starting at: Adult: $79.00, Child: $73.00, Senior: $77.00.
The most near subway to get there are 34 St-Herald Sq (line B, D, F, M, N, Q, R and W lines), but other options are 33 St (4 and 6 lines) and 28 St (N, Q, R and W).
6- American Museum of Natural History
The prices of tickets of admission are:
Adult Admission at $30, Child Admission (Ages 3-12) at $18, Student Admission (with valid ID) $24, and Senior admission (Ages 60+) at $24. Special exhibits, can have additional costs. But If you are a museum member, tickets may be discounted or even free of charge.
You can get there in subway using the 81 St-Museum of Natural History, lines A, B, C and D, and the 79 St line 1 and 2.
7- The hight line
There is no prices of tickets, becaues the entrance is free, but you can gave a donattion to mantain the park if you want.
You can get there in subway in 23 St (A, C, E, 1 and 2) and the 34 St-Hudson Yards (line 7).
8- Rockefeller Center & Top of the Rock
The prices for the top of the Rock are: $34-$61 The genereal admission, $95-$105 the espress pass, $190 the VIP pass and From $124 the New York CityPass.
The nearest subwy to get there are 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr, line B, D, F and M, But in the bus, you can take the M2, M3 or M5, and get out in 5 Av/W 50 St.
9- One World Observatory
The prices of the tickets of the world observatory are: Standard (General Admission) $49, Comination (An Upgrade Experiencie) $59, All-Inclusive (Experience the best) $69, VIP Tour (An exclusive Experience) $79.
The closest subway are WTC Cortlandt (line 1) and World Trade Center (Line E).
10- The Brooklyn Bridge
About tours on Brookyn Bridge, you can find two tipes of them, the first, self guide, free and some audios that talk about the bridge.
You can get there for two extremes, The subway´s more nearest are York St (Line F) and Chambers St (Lines J and Z).
11- The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
Adult ,$30 Senior (65 and over with ID), $22 Visitor with disability. Free admission for a care partner accompanying a visitor with a disability, for the teenager, $22 Full-time with ID, including international students $17 , Child 16 and under. Free admission is available on Fridays from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, but tickets must be reserved in advance.
You can get there with the nearest subway station, like, 5 Av/53 St line E and M, and 57 St with only.
12- Broadway (Theater District)
The price of the show of Michael Jacson are $192.86 each in the mezzanine, For Hamilton is $484.24 each, and for the Lion King Tickets starting at $126.72, among many others.
You can get the with Times Square 42nd Street (1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W, and S lines) and 49th Street (N, R, and W lines).
